Big changes at Johnson Hardware! We are in the process of updating the look of the main building and the shop!
It's been a while but the time has come to update the look of the building and take the time to do some much needed repairs. The hail storm last year really beat up the HVAC units and both buildings needed a coat of paint. Instead of just patching up, a whole new building look is in store. After a complete paint job, the main building will be receiving a new axe sign, landscaping and more! The frame shop will be also be getting some renovations and new signage. Drop by and see us grow!
Beta version of the Online Education page is now live on the site.
This page will feature information on our product lines such as white papers, educational links on technologies, templates, door handing charts, and much more. There will be more additions to this pages as it becomes available. Check back often and use this page as a reference guide for the product line. Use the link to the left to go check it out!

Steve Ragoss achieves CPC designation...
The CPC exam is a designation issued by the American Institute of Constructors (www.aicnet.org). The certification information is presented on another sibling web site, www.constructorcertification.org. According to their web site, the CPC designation denotes a person as a practitioner possessing high standards of practice and proven skills and knowledge.
The certification process is similar to what an engineer does when obtaining the "Professional Engineer" status. Steve basically started on the certification the day he graduated. Steve took an initial exam in college, and obtained the designation of "Associate Constructor" (AC). From this point, he had to have six years of documented work experience, and apply to sit the exam for the Certified Professional Constructor. Once approved to sit the exam, the exam is an 8-hour proctored examination. It is designed to test everything learned (and hopefully retained) in college, but also real-world experience from working in the construction industry.
Johnson Hardware Co congratulates Steve on this important achievement and is proud to have his experience and knowledge available for our customers.

EAC Division has been renamed the Integrated Systems Division to more accurately reflect the expanded products and services offered by this division of Johnson Hardware Company.
Launched in 2004 as the Electronic Access Control division (EAC), this division quickly grew to be a major part of the Johnson Hardware offering. With its unique ability to integrate technology with the door hardware, EAC offers a one stop shop for door and access control.
With the growth of the EAC division came the customer demand for an expanded product offering. Soon the EAC division was integrating and installing CCTV, Security Systems, Telephone Entry and Intercom Systems.
Johnson Hardware President Bill Stock says " The high demand for a complete solution to building security issues combined with our ability to coordinate with our Contract Door division means we can supply a complete solution that no one else in our market can."
To find out more about how the Integrated Systems Division can help your with your building security challenges, contact Doug Thompsen, Senior ISD Sales Consultant by e mail or at 402-502-6412.
